With year 6 now in the books, Camp Macon has now served a "generation" of youth and teens. Kids who were in kindergarten are now in 6th grade participating for the last time in Kids' Camp. Teens who started participating in junior high are now participating for the last time in Teen Sports Camp. Throughout these years, MCM has touched lives, built relationships, and above all, brought many to Jesus Christ.

Sports Camp at Lake Forest saw record numbers as 342 people registered to take part. Kids Camp maintained steady numbers getting 265 children to join the fun. Work Camp recruited a record total of volunteers (including a substantial number from from one area) to tackle a slew of projects including the renovation of Macon Connections, an Internet cafe in the heart of downtown Macon.

A great week of service fellowship and fun capped-off by Family Night 2009! This included a hamburger supper, awards presentation, video recap of the week, and a time of praise and worship. Perhaps the high point of the night was the speaker of the hour Neddie Winters, President of Mission Mississippi. This organization is dedicated to encouraging and demonstrating unity in the Body of Christ across racial and denominational lines so that communities throughout Mississippi can better understand the gospel message.

In the end, MCM 2009 will go down as one the biggest its six-year history!!!
